CREATOR INTERVIEWS
FEATURED TALENT AND COLLABORATORS IN THEIR OWN WORD
Self-taught designer Samii Ryan partnered with Supra Footwear to translate her unapologetic voice into a head-to-toe statement rooted in creativity, confidence, and individuality. From her New Jersey beginnings to building a brand defined by bold graphics and fearless self-expression, Samii Ryan’s aesthetic naturally aligned with Supra’s rebellious skate DNA. The collaboration fused her raw, empowering design language with Supra’s iconic silhouettes—creating footwear that doesn’t just complete an outfit, but amplifies attitude. Together, they delivered a culture-forward drop that celebrates authenticity, influence, and the power of wearing exactly who you are.
Legendary skateboarder Chad Muska teamed up with Supra Footwear and CHOPS MFG for an ultra-exclusive Boombox launch that fused skateboarding, art, and music into a single collectible statement. Built from a stack of Muska’s own retired skate decks, the project reimagined waste as culture—transforming recycled boards into a custom, functioning boombox shoe box housing the iconic all-white Muska Skytop 001, finished with lace tips and lace locks made from the same decks. Limited to just 20 pairs worldwide, the collaboration blurred the line between product and art, celebrating Muska’s legacy and DIY ethos. While most pairs were reserved for friends and family, one lucky fan was given the rare chance to win the Supra x Muska x CHOPS Boombox and a signed pair of Muska 001s—cementing the drop as a true grail moment in skate culture.
NASCAR driver Regina Sirvent partnered with UN/DN LAQR as a brand ambassador in a culture-forward moment tied to Machine Gun Kelly headlining the NASCAR season kickoff at the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum. Rooted in a shared love for bold self-expression—pink, nail polish, and breaking norms—the collaboration bridged motorsports, music, and beauty, spotlighting individuality in spaces where it’s rarely centered. Sirvent’s fearless presence on and off the track paired naturally with UN/DN LAQR’s genderless ethos, turning race weekend into a statement about confidence, creativity, and showing up exactly as you are.
Minnesota-born musician, artist, and writer Mod Sun teamed up with Supra Footwear for a trippy, art-forward collaboration that blurred the lines between skate culture and modern pop art. Centered on Supra’s iconic low-top Cobalt silhouette, the collab wrapped the canvas sneaker in Mod Sun’s hand-drawn doodles—turning the shoe into a wearable piece of art inspired by his “Modern Sunshine” philosophy. The drop also included two limited-edition T-shirts featuring pop-art tributes to Jean-Michel Basquiat and Andy Warhol, doubling as a love letter to Supra and pro skater Chad Muska. Released on May 6, 2019, and worn by tastemakers like Bella Thorne, the Mod Sun x Supra collection celebrated creativity, friendship, and self-expression—delivering one of Supra’s most artistic collaborations to date.
